This project grows out of my ongoing passion for film curation and translation. As part of the programming team for the 2026 MINT Chinese Film Festival, I contributed to the full curatorial cycle from submission review to bilingual contextualization. Using FilmFreeway, I evaluated each submission for production quality, visual aesthetics, narrative structure, alignment with the festival’s thematic framework.

Beyond selection, my work centered on how films are presented and interpreted across languages and cultural contexts. I wrote and edited bilingual (English–Chinese) curatorial statements and synopses for selected works, including Riddles of the Sphinx (1977), A Chinese Ghost Story (1987), Purple Butterfly (2003), Daughter's Daughter (2024), Films to Die For (2025), and several short films.

A highlight of my role was developing programming notes for the festival’s "Cinephilia Encounters: Amorous Exile and the Gaze," where we paid homage to Laura Mulvey’s Riddles of the Sphinx (1977), revisited Tango Berlin (1997) starring Wim Wenders, and introduced Films to Die For (2025) for its exploration of cinephilic film history.
